Fishbone stitches are often used for embroidering leaves. However, they are great for pointy flower petals, too! This embroidery stitch works great for bigger shapes because the stitches cross each other and thus minimize the chance of tangling or breaking. Also, this fishbone stitch flower has a subtle texture because of the choice of stitches.
