Welcome to day 2 of the flower embroidery days! Today, you’ll learn how to embroider chain stitch flowers! The name lazy daisy already gives us a hint which flower it wants to mimic: the daisy.

How to embroider chain stitch flowers
These kinds of flowers are so fast to whip up – give them a try! Once you have got the chain stitch figured out, the petals will fly from your needles and multiply easily. I find this type of flowers – as simple as they are – very relaxing to make. In addition, they are so versatile, too!
You can make really small or large ones, many petals or just three. Leave a gap in the middle (like in the first tutorial) and fill it up with straight stitches or french knots. Mix up long and short stitches or use different colors – this flower makes it so easy to go crazy and try new things out.
