You might wonder what the name of this flower is all about. In 2011, I saw a stitch tutorial for a pretty cute embroidery stitch. The author thought she invented the stitch and later found out it was an already existing stitch. However, she called the stitch lentil stitch – which I find quite fitting. And this stitch stuck with me and I wanted to use it for something ever since.
The lentil stitch’s official name is circular Rhodes stitch – just in case you wanted to know!
