Rhodes stitch tutorial – embroidery video
The Rhodes stitch is done in a very different way than other embroidery stitches. You can use this technique to fill triangles or circles, too, not just squares. Use the heavy texture it creates to cover areas with a series of stitches like a counted stitch. Sometimes this stitch can also serve as a textured stitch sprinkled around, too. In this tutorial, you will learn how to do this lovely embroidery stitch that is the Rhodes stitch.
This tutorial is part of the new lexicon of embroidery stitches.
