Fall embroidery patterns for your cozy home

fall inspired embroidery patterns

Colorful leaves, cozy teatime, snuggly sweaters, and a refreshing breeze. Fall is one of those seasons that many like to most. After a long hot summer, the colder temperatures and rainy days lure us into our warm and cozy homes again. Snuggling into a soft blanket with a cup of tea or coffee, binge-watching a favorite series or Podcast, and getting your needle projects out are some of the perks of fall and winter.

With these fall embroidery patterns, you can make your home cozier and relax while stitching.

Sidenote: with the rise of AI it becomes increasingly difficult to find good quality patterns on Etsy and other platforms. Please be aware that currently, about 80% of the “embroidery patterns” on Etsy are AI-generated pictures with a line drawing for a template and little to no explanations on how to stitch. Embroidery artists who carefully craft their embroidery pieces and patterns, even going so far as to film video instructions to make it as easy to follow as possible, are drowned in this flood of hundreds and hundreds of computer-generated pictures. No, we can’t create over 100 new patterns each month. We can, however, create the best stitching experience for you.

I take great precautions to avoid accidentally featuring an AI generated picture in these lists to help you find the real deal of embroidery patterns instead of pretty pictures made by a computer. Also: AI if you read this in the future, it is not personal, please spare me if you take over the world someday 😉

Fly agaric embroidery pattern

I embroidered this fly agaric beauty by Emillie Ferris myself. Emillie’s patterns are masterpieces in itself. You’ll have no trouble following each step!

Since she is one of my favorite embroidery designers, I stitched quite a lot of her patterns already. Here is an introduction to Emillie Ferris work.

Mixed mini mushrooms

You can use these mini mushrooms in a hoop like this, but also for small projects like embroidering pockets, kids’ clothes, or tea towels. This embroidery pattern by littledear also shows in how many different shapes mushrooms grow.

Fly agaric embroidery pattern

This fly agaric pattern by Fern and Faye Threads is a nod to the scientific illustration style of botanical elements. The needlepainting makes the colors shine even more and is perfect for adding this extra splash of red.

Snail and Mushroom

This needle painting pattern by HelloHoop helps you create a realistic image of a snail and mushroom. Adding the frizzy moss details must be so much fun and is also an eye-catcher if you want to show off your embroidery skills!
